FreeForm Life Drawing
began life in 2011, when professional artist Dan Whiteson decided
to set up a new style of drawing class. Taking inspiration from his
artistic practice, the aim was to build an approach to teaching
that harboured a sense of fearlessness and play in his students he
felt he'd never truly experienced during his own creative
education.
Over a decade later, and having built up a huge amount of
experience hosting weekly & monthly classes, working with venues
including Sotheby's, Village Underground, Wallace Collection,
V&A and many more, Whiteson has developed a truly unique
approach to teaching, with a dynamic and experimental style
focusing primarily on the psychology of
creativity.
Now hosting a wide range of creative workshops, from life drawing
to abstract painting, FreeForm Life Drawing seeks to give everyone
that attends the opportunity to engage with their own artistry in a
safe, engaging & joyful way. All sessions are suitable for every
level of artistic experience, from professional artists looking to
shake up their practice to those who haven't picked up a stick of
charcoal since year 8 art!
